Whether it is one container, or an entire packing list of thousands of tons of cargo, the Alistair Team can make the move. Our in-house team carefully creates a load plan from the packing list, plans and schedules vehicles, and manages the entire process. We can integrate customs clearance, storage, and out of gauge transport expertise to ensure that every piece of cargo reaches its destination.

Alistair Group provides customer-centric support with the ability to update any client, any time, about the status and location of its cargo. Each vehicle is outfitted with a GPS tracking unit and status updates are emailed to clients twice per day. The tracking system is directly integrated with our in-house Fleet Management System allowing efficient monitoring of driver performance and automatic alerts in case of speeding, night driving, or route deviation.

The Alistair Group understands first hand the impact of preventive maintenance on our reliability and delivery times. Alistair Group runs extensive workshop facilities at all of our road freight maintenance sites with a full team of qualified welders, painters, mechanics, tyre technicians and electricians. Our stores keep an extensive inventory of replacement parts and consumables on-site to allow for quick turnarounds in servicing our road freight fleet.

All drivers operating our vehicles have years of experience transporting in the region, and many have long tenures working with the company. Training is paramount to our success and our road freight drivers undergo regular instruction in accordance with our training matrix at our in-house facility. Driving is restricted to daylight hour only, and drivers are monitored to ensure they are in a safe parking area by sunset.
