Alistair Group owns the most reliable and best-maintained fleet of material handling rental equipment in the South and East Africa region. Our Equipment rental fleet includes a range of forklifts and telehandlers with capacities ranging from 3 tons up to 16 tons. Alistair group also offers rentals of rough terrain and crawler cranes ranging from 45 ton to 205 ton capacity, as well as a variety of sideloaders, man lifts, and other rental equipment.
All machinery is certified to international standards and certification is renewed every 12 months. Alistair Group is constantly adding to our rental fleet and we are willing to invest in specialist machinery as per interest from our clients. We only use quality equipment manufacturers in our fleet such as Grove, Liebherr, Manitowoc, Manitou, Heli, Hyster, Utilev, Mitsubishi, and TCM.

Equipment Operators
All operators of Alistair Group’s rental equipment have years of experience working in relevant industries on similar machines. Drivers undergo constant training courses to ensure their certificates and knowledge are always up to date and standard. As a Company, the Alistair Group believes that learning never ends and strive to constantly re-certify and progress the standards of our equipment rental operators and riggers.
Maintenance
In order to service our fleet of rental equipment, the Alistair Group operates full workshop and maintenance facilities in Dar es Salaam, Mtwara, Palma and Pemba as well as field sites near every rental equipment operation. Two years’ worth of spare parts are kept on site for each machine, limiting the delay caused by any breakdowns of rental equipment. Our technicians are trained at manufacturer facilities and have access to all the diagnostic software and proprietary knowledge required to identify and immediately resolve breakdowns at our workshops or in the field.
